LinkedIn Lead Generation — Job Board Sales Intelligence

Overview

Companies that are actively hiring are often good sales prospects. This n8n workflow automates the research behind that insight, converting job board listings into enriched company profiles and AI-generated sales intelligence.

How it works

The workflow reads a job board RSS feed (Remotive by default) and loops through each listing. It scrapes the job ad to pull out the company and location, then runs a Google X-Ray search through the Google Custom Search API (site:linkedin.com/company plus company and location) to locate the company's LinkedIn page. The URL is cleaned with a regex and the company page is scraped.

The page HTML is split into seven blocks — company info (name, category, size, followers), locations, about section, employees with titles and profile links, recent updates, products and affiliated pages. Each block is processed with dedicated HTML extraction, filtering and aggregation nodes, then merged into a single structured company object.

An LLM chain using GPT-4o-mini with a structured output parser summarizes the data into a prospect assessment, and a formatted HTML report is emailed to the sales team via Gmail. Conditional branches skip listings with missing locations or no search results, and a wait step between iterations provides rate limiting. With 60+ nodes, it is one of the more involved workflows in the collection.
